Energy 4 Green – eBook Review

Posted by Trevas On March - 13 - 20092 COMMENTS

After reviewing the Earth 4 Energy eBook a few weeks ago, this site started to get some traffic with searches for Energy 4 Green. From that, I have decided to review this eBook package as well (since it’s obviously information that people are looking for).

Much like Earth 4 Energy, this eBook/video series teaches you how to convert your home to off-grid power. Energy 4 Green contains more eBook content than the other package does, but I don’t think that it takes away from the value of this particular learning package. Each eBook is well laid out and walks you through the steps needed to create solar panels, windmills, and best of all it gives you tips to source the parts for decent prices. With the main book you get detailed plans, that lays out how to put everything together, and I felt it taught the material quite well.

You also get many bonus books with your purchase that help to add clarity to how to install the system, teach you how to create an energy storage system for very little cost, and in general that add value to the whole package.

Since I’ve talked about two products in this particular review, I know I will get questions about which one to recommend. I think it might actually be difficult to do so, and that the decision should be left up to you. Either package will cost you about $50.

The Earth 4 Green package contains more bonus material that is worth the price than Earth 4 Energy did, but then the video content of the second package will make it easier for some to follow. I’m not going to actually recommend one here. I will say that Energy 4 Green is very well written, and that the additional books that came with this particular package do add a lot of value to it.

Also, since they both come with an 8 week money-back guarantee, I wouldn’t be worried about buying either product.

1000 Questions for Couples by Michael Webb- eBook Review

Posted by Review-Clarice On March - 12 - 20093 COMMENTS

You may know Michael Webb from his appearances on shows like Oprah, the 700 Club or one of the many other television shows that he has been featured on. In case you don’t know who he is, Michael Webb is a relationship expert and today I am reviewing his eBook: 1000 Questions for Couples.

As the title suggests the book includes questions for couples. It’s based off the premise that if couples could learn to communicated better, there would be 83% less divorces in our society.

The book itself is very well thought out, and Michaels relationship expertise comes shining through as you make your way into it. Personally I don’t feel the title does this one justice. Personally I would have called it 1000 Questions for Couples to get to Know and Understand Each Other (that likely wouldn’t fit on the cover though).

If you look at your own relationship and those of the people you know, one thing that quickly becomes clear is how few of us really know our partners well. Michaels book works to change that.

1000 Questions for Couples get’s into serious questions that spouses and partners should be asking each other. The topics of the questions range getting to know each other’s personallity better to questions about the past, future, morals, convictions, and much more. With each question the book presents it also teaches you why you should ask each other the questions. Personally this one will go into my own relationship toolbox, and I will be using this one in my own life.

If you’ve been looking for the next great book for both of you, I do suggest this one. I wouldn’t just suggest it to those who are struggling in their relationships either, I would say this is one that every couple should read!

This one is only available as an eBook and it won’t be coming to a store near you. It also comes with a money back guarantee. You can use the link below to get your copy now:

Update April 07, 2009: After posting this review, we began to get a lot of search engine traffic for this particular eBook. Given that we have posted an 1000 Questions for Couples eBook Feature that includes a topic list and a short excerpt from the book.

Here’s a book that anyone who enjoys a great Romance novel will not want to miss.

It’s actually a Paranormal/Romance published by Champagne Books. The book is called Waiting for the Rain, by M.Jean Pike, and I am highly recommending this one to anyone who enjoys either genre.

On a normal day I likely wouldn’t say that I am a Romance reader, but I did enjoy this book.

Waiting for the Rain tells the story of Willow Mackenzie. A woman who is suffering from, and possibly dying from, cancer and who is generally lost on what path her life should take. That is until she meets Darby Sullivan, and her life begins to take a turn for the better.

I’m not going to give away the storyline. All I will say beyond what I already have is that this one is a Romance novel with a paranormal twist. The book contains just the right mix of suspense, paranormal, and romance to make it one that will appeal to many readers and not just romance fans.

This was another one of those books that I had trouble putting down. I finished from front to back in 2 days (I had to sleep somewhere in between), and with every page I found myself wanting to read more.

All-in-all Waiting for the rain is a great read, and this is one book that I think anyone could enjoy. It’s especially one that romance readers won’t want to miss!

An Excerpt from Waiting for the Rain

This is it, an inner voice whispered. This is the home I have searched for. The home I have waited a lifetime to find. The thought came with an intensity that surprised her. She certainly hadn’t come up Baker’s Gully Road looking for a cottage to rent.

A crack of thunder tore through the quiet, pulling her from her thoughts. The dog barked. Gazing across the yard, she saw him waiting just beyond the house, at the end of a rutted dirt path, his tail beating furiously. Feeling the first drops of rain splash her face, she opened her umbrella and hurried toward him.

The path led through a grove of pine trees, then to a covered bridge that spanned a wide, chortling river. Just beyond the bridge, Willy could see another cabin, this one made of logs. Most of the dwelling was concealed by trees, but the thin curl of smoke escaping the chimney told Willy the cabin was inhabited. The dog stopped in mid-stride and pricked up its ears, then took off on a dead run toward the cabin. Willy followed at a slower pace, wondering where the old dog got his energy.

Fans of paranormal/thriller books won’t want to miss the book I am reviewing today. The book is called the Unearthed, it’s written by Brian O’Rourke and it is a new release from Lyrical Press.

The book tells the story of Tim McCloskey and his paranormal investigator team as they work through solving a mystery of a haunting. After moving into the Moriarty home (a place with history) the Rosselli family is suddenly faced with all sorts of strange events. Noises appearing unexpectedley, a blood stain on the floor that keeps coming back, and a son who is suddenly talking to people who don’t exist. To help they call in Tim and his team to figure out what’s going on.

I’m not going to tell you any more of the story than that, but I will say that this one is full of twists and turns that will keep you on your toes all the way through. This was one of those books that I couldn’t put down (I stayed up till 3am to finish it), and I am highly recommending it to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

Brian O’Rourke has a writing style that’s descriptive enough to take you right into the scene, and you’ll find yourself constantly wondering what happens next. If you’ve been looking for the next great eBook to add to your collection – this one should be on your list.

Here’s a book that fans of urban-fantasy won’t want to miss. The book is Unseen World by Sean Cummings and is now available from Lyrical Press as of March 02. The publisher’s site lists the book as an urban fantasy/paranormal novel, and I think that classification fits the book well.

I’ve been reading more urban fantasy in recent months, but I have to say that this was definitely the best book of that genre that I’ve read in a while. The book is well-written, it has the elements to make it a great urban fantasy novel, and the humor that is added throughout the book makes it a fun read.

To give you an idea of what the book is about (without giving away the story), this one is an average-joe-turned-superhero meets a bad-bunch-of-demons kind of novel. It tells the story of Marshall Conrad (the hero) as he battles against what could become the end of his beloved hometown. Throughout the story you’ll be taken on a fantastic journey that includes witchcraft, superhero’s, paranormal entities, and even a little romance thrown into the mix.

Sean Cummings is a new author, and this novel is the first in his urban fantasy series. Being new on the scene doesn’t mean without style though; the book is an excellent read and it will keep you entertained from the first page on. Sean has definitely gained one new fan, and I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

I am highly recommending this one to anyone who enjoys a great urban-fantasy. Be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed so that you don’t miss the reviews of some other great Lyrical Releases.

An Excerpt from Unseen World

“Goddammit, no time, she’s gonna see me. Gotta move now!” I growled through my teeth as I dropped into a straight vertical dive directly above the attacker. He jumped out from the copse of trees and the woman screamed as she raised her arms to shield her face from the knife.

“Not tonight, asshole!” I bellowed, as I slammed into his midsection, driving him flat onto the paved surface of the pathway. There was a loud crunch as my left shoulder connected with his rib cage. His head bounced off the asphalt. I crushed his right wrist into granules and the filleting knife fell to the ground with a harmless clang.

The attacker groaned as I grabbed a handful of his trench coat and lifted him off the ground. “Where’s the other body, you son of a bitch?” I pulled his face about two inches from my glowing eyes. “Tell me where that other body is or I’ll tear your head off right here and now!”

“W-W-Who are you?” he blubbered loudly. “I d-don’t know what y-you’re t-talking about? Please don’t kill me!”

“I’d be doing society a favor. If you want to live longer than the next ten seconds, you’lltell me where you hid the third body.”

“I-t-told you I d-don’t know anyth…” he whimpered, as he passed into unconsciousness. His body went limp and he slid out of his trench coat, landing flat on his back.

The Dragons Slayers Sword by Resa Nelson – Fiction eBook Review

Posted by Amanda @ funkEpunkEmonkE On March - 5 - 20093 COMMENTS

The Dragonslayer's SwordThis book starts out with the reader wondering what type of monster Astrid could be, and ends with an understanding that things are never what they seem.

Typically in this genre, there’s a hero, a damsel in distress, and a villain. Plots are never unique and the reader can see the twists a mile away. Not so in this novel. Resa Nelson does a great job of keeping the reader in suspense and leading in one direction just to take a sharp turn of events later.

A strong heroine is another great feature of this book. Astrid seizes hold of her destiny and takes control. She goes from a frightened child to being comfortable in her own skin. Astrid doesn’t let hardships effect her inner self, rather finds strength within.

I’d recommend this book to everyone. It’s a coming of age story that transcends time and locale. A story of inner strength, love, overcoming obstacles, and becoming who you’re meant to be. All this with a happy ending to boot!

March 16th Update: Niche Blueprint has now relaunched. Use the links below to get your copy today!

This is a little outside of the types of reviews I would normally post to this site. We don’t normally openly promote products besides reviewing them. Today though, I have a product worth promoting, and it’s a course that I feel anyone interested in making money should get in on.

The program is called Niche Blueprint, and it is created by Tim Godfrey & Steve Clayton. It’s basically a course that teaches you how to create niche websites that can earn you a pile of money. The course contains eBooks and videos and spans 9 modules that include hours of video lessons that walk you step-by-step through the process of making money with a website. Their system does not require you to stock products, and it doesn’t require you to worry about logistics. It’s basically a research your market, set up your site, and make money type of system.

I’ve taken this course and the ideas included really work (I own a couple of niche sites that are already making decent money). The material is laid out well enough that even the least tech savvy person could follow the instructions given.

Here’s the deal though:

When this course originally launched it sold out in just three days. It was taken off the market and hasn’t been available since. Apparently since they closed the Niche Blueprint site Tim and Steve have been inundated with email asking them to sell the program again. From that they have decided to relaunch Niche Blueprint, but it will only be available for 4 days. On March 16th Niche Blueprint will relaunch and between the 16th and 20th you can get a copy for yourself.

This is one of those courses that will set you back a little – it’s a few hundred dollars to get in on this one – but if you’re are looking for a way to make serious money online this is the course you want.

Get in on the Niche Blueprint re-launch by clicking here and signing up for their email subsciber list. If you were going to buy any of the money-making eBooks/courses that we review on this site, this is the one you should buy.

For those who aren’t familiar with Niche Blueprint, Tim Godfrey & Steve Clayton are two guys who started making money with niche sites. It started with one site that sold birdcages. Within 4 months time they built that one site to earn $10,000 a month, and within a year they had created many other sites that did the same. The first site they ended up selling. It was purchased at a price of $175,000. If you do the math, they made $10,000 a month for close to a year and then sold the site at $175,000. That’s close to $275,000 in a year with one site. (As a side note – I’m not sure that the bird cage site was the first one, it’s just the one they talk most about in the course).

The course doesn’t teach you to accomplish this just once though. It teaches you how to get it started with one site and then repeat the process to do it again. You could accomplish what the course teaches in just an hour a day when you’re starting out.

As I said earlier they are only making this one available for 4 days. If you have been looking to make money online this is THE course to learn with. Get in on the re-launch now!

If you have any questions about this one before the relaunch comes, please feel free to email be (trevas @ ebookguru.org). I own the course and I have no problem answering any questions you might have.

Regards,

Trevas Walker
