Free eBook of the Week – Cliff Burns – So Dark the Night

Posted by Trevas On December - 29 - 2008

For this week’s featured free ebook we are sharing a link to an authors sites. Cliff Burns is an author with a few books to his credit, a film in the works, and more than 100 short stories in print. I have read a few of his shorter works and I do enjoy his writing (I’m currently working my way through the novel we are about to share with you).

On his own blog, Cliff is giving away his novel So Dark the Night. Cliff descibes the book as:

So Dark the Night is a supernatural mystery, an homage to film noir, cult TV and pulp fiction. Imagine a weird hybrid of Raymond Chandler, the films of Val Lewton and “The X Files”.

You can get your copy of So Dark the Night from Cliff’s blog – Beautiful Desolation. The book is freely available in PDF format. From what I’ve read so far, the book is great; and since it’s the best deal your likely to find on an eBook this week – I do suggest you download your copy!

If you are like me and prefer to read eBooks on a mobile device, converting it for a reader is quite simple. Use the MobiCreator software to import the PDF file and then build it as an eBook. The created mobi file will be readable on all major eBook readers (including a Kindle).
